Walsh Behavioral Health System is a therapy/counseling practice. Walsh Behavioral Health System was established in order to enhance access to care, streamline healthcare processes, and alleviate clinician burnout with competitive reimbursement rates.
Our providers work with a range of individuals, and each clinician contains a particular population that they are interested in working with, and specialties that they offer. If you are curious about receiving services, please visit the clinician profiles page.
Walsh Behavioral Health System is dedicated to making receiving behavioral health services affordable and accessible. Thus, all of our clinicians are currently in-network with Atena and BCBS IL (Blue Choice and PPO).
If the provider you are interested in working with is not credentialed with your insurance, we also provide out-of-network services. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network coverage, you might qualify for reimbursement after paying for your sessions. We will provide the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance company, and information regarding this process.
Our providers set aside a portion of their caseloads for income-based, reduced-fee services for individuals with qualifying household income. If you believe you may qualify for reduced or sliding-scale services, please reach out via the inquiry link. We strive to provide the highest level of accessible care, and if we are unable to meet your needs, we will collaborate with you to find someone else in the community who can.
At Walsh Behavioral Health System, we understand that the process of starting therapy can feel daunting: How does this process even work? We’re here to help answer any questions that may come up, and guide you through this process. If you would like to begin receiving services, please follow the steps below:
1. Take a look at the clinician profiles.
2. Submit an inquiry under the "Book an Appointment" page, and fill out the necessary information.
3. One of our representatives will reach out to you and connect you with the clinician you are interested in working with. You clinician will schedule a brief, complimentary 15-minute phone consultation with you in order to determine clinical fit.
4. After the consultation is complete, and if you have decided to move forward in working with the clinician, they will work with you in setting up the initial intake appointment.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via the Contact Us page.
